Gottlieb Cross Town Wedge Head Pinball Machine NrClassic 60's wedge head pinball machine. Cross town!
By gottlieb. I believe these machines were made in 1966, somewhere around 2500 were produced.
This particular machine is in over-all very good condition. On a 10 scale i would rate the condition of the back glass an 8, theer is some minor flaking, mostly in the lower right hand corner (pic.
#5). Condition of the play field would be an 8.5, it's in great shape showing only very minimal wear. The cabinet is the weakest part of this machine, i rate it at a 7 mainly because the legs are rusty, there are aslo a few scratches but nothing really serious, the coin door also shows a small amount of rust. Mechanically the machine plays very well, there is plenty of ppo in the pop bumpers and plenty of flip in the flippers. The lights, rubbers and plastics are all in excellent shape. The amchine scores as it should, the only problem i noticed with the scoring is that it does not award replays at the scores listed on the instruction card. Someone familiar with these machines could probably fix that in a matter of minutes. The machine is set pu for free play as there are no coin mechanism's.
This machine is great fun to play and with a minimal effort could be put into collector-quality condition. Shipping will be the sole responsibilty of the buyer, and must be arranged within 10 days of the completed auction. I acn assist in loading the machine onto a truck but thats as far as i go. Local pick up would be fine. Sorry, no paypal on this particular auction, money orders or certfiied checks only. This will be a no-reserve auction, please ask any questions before bidding. lPease support the nra thanks.
